Baryonyx was a large predator like T-Rex in the Early Cretaceous period. It ate fish more than meat. The huge crocodile like jaws could rip apart a fish. It also had a big, hooked claw on its hand.

Sabourtooth Descendants
I have been looking up about Sabourtooth descendants. Unfortunately I can't find any information on sabourtooth descendants. Hopefully you can. I'm very sorry. But I'm sure that they are large cats such as Tigers, Leopards and Lions. Write me a post about what you find out.

Extiction
Why did the Dinosaurs die out? No body really knows why, but we have come up with several theories. One is that a Giant Meteorite hit the Gulf of Mexico creating a blinding flash of light. Next came the Massive shock wave. Several of these zoomed around the earth. They were Giant gusts of wind picking up anything in it's path.
If any Dinosaurs did survive the mascara then the flying dust and sand would of blocked out the sun and change the climate completely. The freezing cold would surely kill them off.

News About Sabourtooths
Dear Maria thanks for your question. Unfortunately the Sabourtooth Tiger is not alive, only bones. But if you ask because you like Sabourtooths then don't get upset because they do have descendants. I am not sure what animals are the direct descendants but I will look it up for you and write another post soon.
New Jurassic Park film?
The News About the new Jurassic Park film.
There is apparently a new Jurassic Park film coming out 2008. It is supposed to be called:
Jurassic Park 4: The Extinction.
In this new film the plot is that all your favourite people are back in an all new Jurassic Park film. They are told about an serious illness that has struck the island. If this isn't dealt with then the human race is in danger of extinction. They are sent on a perilous journey to cure them of the disease. Along the way they will meet old friends (dinosaurs)and possibly new ones...
Remember this may not be the exact plot, as I am only telling you what I know.
This Just in...
According to a news report there is another possible cause of death to the woolly mammoths. Apparently paleontologists think that, by looking carefully at mammoth bones, small meteors got inside of them and then blew up, obviously not with a massive explosion. Look it up on the BBC news website.

Spinosaurus
Spinosaurus was a giant meat eater. Some scientists say that it used its' sail to cool itself down during heatwaves. It would have lived at the end of the Jurassic and the start of the Cretaceous, about the same time as the tyrannosaurus. The Spinosaurus was bigger than the T-Rex and probably more fierce.
Jurassic Park
Jurassic Park is a film about dinosaurs. When John Hammond creates clone dinosaurs he invites Dr Allen Grant and Ellie Settler, two paleontologists, and a scientist called Ian to see them. But it all goes wrong when one of John's staff turns off all the power. Allen Grant and John's two grandchildren experience many things like : a hungry Brachiosaurus, killer raptors, flocking herd of Gallimimus and a T-Rex that saves the day. This is a beautiful film with lots of horror. Certainly a film for the record books.

Dino Facts
Thanks to Eve for asking my first three questions. I shall try to answer them.
1) The parent that sat on the eggs was the female only, except Ankylosaurus, it never sat on the eggs because it might have crushed them.
2) The picture is of a Mother T-Rex looking after it's young, Where is the male? I know it's gone out hunting, is that true...? Wrong, after the clutch of eggs have been laid the female chases off the male. Apart from that all Dino's are good parents, but years back Coelphysis have been thought to have eaten there young. But scientists have discovered that it may have been crocodiles they were eating.
3) Dinosaurs were in the United Kingdom but only a few of them have been identified. However, the Isle of Wight has the most fossils of any place in Europe.
